ExpoCityTrans has completed successfully.

Dear colleagues, partners and friends!

The Management of the ExpoCityTrans 2014 would like to express our sincere gratitude for your significant contribution to the success of our exhibition!

In comparison with 2012 attendance at the exhibition increased by 2 times. For the first three days of the event more than 10,000 professionals and guests visited the ExpoCityTrans 2014. The last day was planned for public free entry. More than 3 thousand visitors saw new items.

In total, visitors from 14 countries and 32 regions of Russia visited the exhibition, according to the Organizer research.

The ExpoCityTrans 2014 was attended by 82 companies from 8 countries, the exhibition area increased by 1.3 times compared with the exhibition of 2012 and amounted to 10,500 sq.m. 70% of the exhibitors were presented by their top managers.

The exhibition was visited by the Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin as well as representatives of the Moscow Government, federal agencies, regional bodies and local authorities, international professional associations. All of them made aware of the signed premieres of new equipment.

Deputy Mayor of Moscow, the head of the Deputy Mayor and Head of the Department for Transport and Road Infrastructure Development Maxim Liksutov, General Secretary of the International Association of Public Transport, Alan Flaush, Director General of Mosgortrans Yevgeny Mikhailov, head of the Moscow Metro Dmitry Pegov, CEO of MosExpo Sergey Selivanov attended the opening ceremony.

Business program united 12 business events: presentations, round tables and competitions. The exhibition summarized youth competition of student works under the aegis of the UITP and Y4PT with the participation of the State University of Management.

The success of the ExpoCityTrans is confirmed by the record number of media information representatives. For expand this business event were more than 210 accredited journalists representing 107 media. Post coverage of more than 180 articles in the media industry; 30 reports on TV: TVC, Moscow 24, Vesti 24, Vesti Russia, Russia 1. Citation in online media has made more than 73 thousand times.

According to numerous reviews of participants and guests of the 3rd Exhibition recognized as the most successful and has high potential for further development of the industry.

The third edition of ExpoCityTrans will be held from 29 October to 1 November in Moscow, where more than 100 leading transport companies from Europe and Asia will gather to discover the latest sector trends in Russia and beyond.

Participants are invited to witness 14,500m2 of the latest innovative developments in the sphere of public transport; from the expansion of high-speed transport to the creation of ecologically-favourable conditions for livable cities of the future.

Alstom and Transmashholding (TMH) will present in Moscow on 29 October a modern high-speed low-floor tramway designed for Russian cities within the ExpoCityTrans 2014 Exhibition. 

Tramway new one.pdfThe tram-set presented in Moscow is a completely modular vehicle combining the latest know-how of modern tramway engineering based on Alstom flagship’s model Citadis. It is equipped with a new model of bogie to fit Moscow existing rail network, thus reducing the infrastructure preparation phase and cutting the operation costs.

State-of-the-art engineering solutions such as composite materials, new innovative bogie or modular sections used in this new model of tramway ensure easier repair and lower maintenance costs as well as energy savings. The life-time of this new rolling stock is 30 years. From 25 to 35 m long depending on customer’s requirements, the tramway has also a capacity of 300 passengers, almost twice as much as in the current vehicles.

The 3rd International Exhibition of Public Transport ExpoCityTrans 2014 will be held in the 75th exhibition hall (IECC MosExpo) of the All-Russia Exhibition Center from October 29 till November 1, 2014. More than 100 leading transport companies of Europe and Asia, professional transport workers of the highest class and the management of the leading companies will take part in the event. ExpoCityTrans 2014 is a huge platform gathering the past and future of all forms of city transport, including a major exhibition  of rolling stock, spare parts and modern IT technology.

On Wednesday evening, July 9th the head of Moscow metro Ivan Besedin gave an exclusive interview to Moscow's Radio «Echo of Moscow» about future prospects of ExpoCityTrans 2014.

The 3rd International Exhibition of Public Transport ExpoCityTrans 2014 will be held in the 75th exhibition hall (ICEC MosExpo) of the All-Russia Exhibition Center from October 29 till November 1, 2014. More than 100 leading transport companies of Europe and Asia, professional transport workers of the highest class and the management of the leading companies will take part in the event.

The exhibition’s audience is public transport authorities and operators of Russia and the CIS, regulatory bodies being in charge of development of the city transport structure, suppliers of rolling stock and maintenance equipment and others.

ExpoCityTrans 2014 represents the latest trends in transport complex of Russia and the entire Eurasian region. The exhibition will display the recent achievements in transport industry and the perspective elaboration of the leading companies which would form the image of the cities being comfortable for living in the nearest future. Stands of Mosgortrans and Moscow Metro will become the centre of the exhibition.
